Glum George, Lonely Luke & Emo Kylo Ren

There are so many stages to making a blockbuster movie these days.  Pre-production, production, post-production.  Location scouting, set building, casting, costume design, special effects.

Then the teaser trailer (sometimes the teaser for the teaser trailer).  Then the trailer. And another trailer.  Then the international trailer with 4 seconds of new footage.  Then a few (dozen) tv spots.  Then the premier and the reviews and finally…if the film is successful enough…the twitter parody accounts.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens has become a hugely successful film commercially and received generally positive reviews.  In the wake of this success many parody twitter accounts have appeared (an inevitability in this modern world we live in).  Some raise a smile, some do not and a rare few are simply outstanding.  Here are three of the best…

Bonus- Emo Kylo Ren vs Very Lonely Luke

Search through the twitter feeds of either parody account and you’ll come across a battle of epic proportions- the dark side versus the light side if you will.

Emo Kylo taunts Lonely Luke, Luke replies with tales of Ren’s sad upbringing.  Lonely Luke teases Kylo Ren who sarcastically congratulates him on a job well done.  It’s a brilliant rivalry between two popular accounts and will keep you entertained for a while.  Enjoy!
